Remote Interior Design
Remote interior design.
I design complete interiors for clients who live hundreds or thousands of kilometres from Prague. The whole process runs online, from the first call to the final documentation, and the result is as considered as the projects I run in person.
This service suits Czechs living abroad, foreigners buying property in the Czech Republic, and clients anywhere in the world who want a European approach to interiors. For larger projects, I travel to meet you in person.
How does remote interior design work?
- 01 We start with an online call to walk through the space and how you want to live in it.
- 02 From the materials you send me (floor plans, photos, measurements), I build an accurate picture of the space.
- 03 I propose the layout, a moodboard and the material scheme.
- 04 A 3D study lets you see the interior before anything is built.
- 05 You receive the full documentation and a shopping list with products available in your country.
What you get
- Detailed online consultations
- Space analysis from your materials
- Layout solution
- Moodboard and material selection
- 3D study
- Shopping list with links to products available in your country
- Final documentation for construction
Is remote design right for you?
Working remotely usually makes sense in these situations:
- You live abroad and you're renovating a flat or house in the Czech Republic.
- You're a Czech living outside the country and want someone who understands your taste and European materials.
- You are buying property in another country and want the interior resolved before you move in.
- You want a designer who speaks English and can run the whole project online.
What language do we work in, and how do we stay in touch?
I work in both Czech and English. We talk over video calls, email and shared folders for your materials, whichever suits you. I handle the time difference by scheduling calls in advance and sending materials between them, so you can review everything whenever it works for you.
What does remote interior design cost?
The design fee usually falls between 800 and 1,200 CZK per m², depending on the size of the space, the scope of the work and the level of detail you want. Designing a single room and resolving a whole house are two different things. Send me a few sentences about your project and I will prepare a no-obligation estimate and an outline of the process.
Recent remote projects
One example is an apartment building near Zurich, Switzerland, which I handled remotely. You will find more remote projects and studies in the portfolio.
Have a project abroad?
Send me a few sentences about the space and what you expect from it. I will suggest the next step and the scope of work best suited to your project.
