Apartment on Rašínova Street, Zlín

This completed apartment in Zlín is built on light, air and carefully chosen materials. We wanted a home that is elegant but practical, where clean architecture doesn't work against the feeling of belonging. Kitchen, dining and lounge read as one open space. A white high-gloss kitchen is paired with timber accents and a vertical slatted divider that structures the space gently without closing it off. Large windows bring in daylight and connect the interior to the greenery on the loggia. The bathroom is a chapter of its own: a textured three-dimensional wall, counter-top basins and a glazed walk-in shower give it a spa-like calm. The bedroom stays in muted grey and sand so it remains welcoming. The interior doesn't lean on effect but on honest detailing and balanced light. It holds together, and it won't date.
