Family House Renovation, Přílepy

The renovation of this family house in Přílepy meant a complete change of both the layout and the atmosphere. The point was to give the house a light, clean, contemporary feel while keeping the sense of home for everyday family life. The living floor connects the kitchen, dining space and lounge into one bright whole. White surfaces, pale timber and a stone wall by the media area give the space calm and depth. A staircase with a slender metal balustrade acts as a light divider that never blocks the daylight. The bathrooms work with large-format tiling, timber cabinets and round mirrors. The materials were chosen for durability and easy upkeep, because the house serves the family every day. After the renovation the house feels as if it had been built this way from the start: light, ordered and pleasant to live in.
