This Mladcová apartment is tuned to warm cream and sand tones. With indirect lighting, the result is a soft atmosphere in which the surfaces almost seem to glow from within. The living area is led by a backlit island clad in glass blocks — the sculptural piece the whole scheme rests on. Rounded furniture lines, bouclé upholstery and flowing textiles take the edge off every transition, so the flat reads as calm and sensual. Kitchen, dining and living room form one continuous space with no visual barriers. Colours never compete; the scheme stays within shades of one tone and lets light do the talking. The visualisation shows an interior with no interest in being showy. It is quietly luxurious, and mostly it is calming.
